Our Clacton Air Show Colouring Competition is still open and one talented young artist will win a family ticket to this year’s pantomime, The Magical Adventures of Sleeping Beauty.

If you took home one of our special colouring sheets, please return it to the Princes Theatre Box Office by 6 September. A winner will be selected w/c 7 September. If the building is closed please pop in our post box by the entrance doors.

This year’s cast made a magical appearance at the Air Show, with Princess Beauty, Prince William and The Fairy enchanting visitors throughout the day. Their costumes shimmered in the sunshine and brought a touch of pantomime wonder to the seafront.

We hope you got to meet them!

A huge thank you to everyone that purchased a raffle ticket at the Princes Theatre marquee at the Clacton Air Show. All proceeds will go towards the theatre access fund.

A Winner has now been selected. Congratulations to Chloe strip 291-295.

Further raffles will be held at the Victorian Christmas Market and Clacton Largest Market on 14th and 15th November. We hope to see you then

Look who has arrived in Clacton today to help promote this year’s Christmas pantomime, The Magical Adventures of Sleeping Beauty.

Our stunning Princess Beauty and the handsome Prince William are joining the Princes Theatre team at their marquee on the greensward. Pop along to say hello, grab a selfie or take part in our colouring competition for the chance to win a family ticket to the pantomime.

Joining us today at the Clacton Air Show is Princess Beauty and Prince William.

Ellie is currently training at the prestigious Laine Theatre Arts and is delighted to be making her professional debut at the Princes Theatre.
She is incredibly excited to take this next step in her performing career and would like to say a huge thank you to her family and friends for their constant love, encouragement and support throughout her training and journey so far.

William trained in Musical Theatre at ArtsEd and Emil Dale Academy, graduating in 2025.

His professional credits include The Railway Children (King’s Cross Theatre), Shakespeare in Love (The Living Theatre), Eigengrau (Queen Mother Theatre) and Cinderella (The Forum Theatre).

Whilst training, William performed in a variety of productions including Carrie: The Musical at Emil Dale, Sweeney Todd and Merely A Madness directed by Blair Anderson, The Baker’s Wife directed by Stephen Jameson, HMS Pinafore directed by Terri Claus, and The Laramie Project directed by Jonathan Hunt.

William is delighted to be spending the festive season in Clacton and is excited to share the magic of pantomime with audiences at the Princes Theatre!
