Last night at the Gallery we painted hedgehogs in watercolour using a wet in dry technique alongside learning how to apply (an remove) masking fluid. This was a fun workshop and attendees said how much they enjoyed it! This workshop will be repeated again shortly as we have had requests to repeat this. Keep a look out for August workshops.

We had a visit from chairman of TDC cllr Ann Oxley today. Was lovely to meet you and thank you for taking the time to come and see all the fabulous art on display, all by local artists.

🎨 A Wonderful Visit to Clacton Art Gallery Today 🎨

Today I had the pleasure of visiting the Clacton Art Gallery and meeting some of the fantastic volunteers and talented artists who help make it such a special place.

The gallery is full of incredible artwork created by local artists, showcasing a wide range of styles and subjects. It’s wonderful to see so much creativity and talent on display within our district.

A huge thank you to everyone involved for the warm welcome and for all the hard work that goes into supporting local art and providing a space where artists can share their work with the community.

If you haven’t visited yet, I would highly recommend popping in and having a look around – you may even find the perfect piece of artwork to take home!
