With WOW!house 2026 officially open, we take a look back at our Entrance Hall, and wish all of the designers, brands and collaborators involved in this year’s event the best of luck.

For Cox London’s debut at WOW!house 2025, Chris and Nicola partnered with interior designer Victoria Davar of Maison Artefact to reimagine the Entrance Hall. Drawing classical inspiration from architectural drawings of Borden House in Mayfair, the space was envisioned as the home of an artist - where boundaries between life, art and interiors dissolve.

As draws to a close, we reflect on the fact that creativity is not a luxury; it is a defining human attribute. As a founder, maker, and creative, I see every day how the act of making connects us to something deeply human: curiosity, care, and meaning. Craft holds time, skill, and story in the hands, and in a world moving ever faster, that matters.

Everyone benefits from engaging with creative and cultural activity, whether an enthusiast, craftsperson, artist, collector, or aspiring maker. Creativity supports mental wellbeing, offers grounding, and gives form to ideas we cannot always articulate. It fulfils the soul.

Now is the moment to actively support skills and creativity, to invest in making, learning, and cultural exchange. Visit workshops, museums, and galleries; commission work; collect thoughtfully; mentor emerging talent; and champion creative education. When we value skills and creativity, we protect our shared humanity and strengthen society itself.

The back of beyond, the wilds.

The Cox London atelier is located in North London, surrounded by urban sprawl and protected marshlands, with a rich industrial heritage.

It is in this in-between place that the creative soul is stirred, serving as inspiration for Christopher and Nicola Cox’ new body of work titled ‘Hinterlands’, exploring the ceaseless progress of nature.
