The Music Works - Forest We are a Gloucestershire based charity and we transform young lives through music. It is situated on the Forest High School Complex in Cinderford.

Follow this page for updates about programmes and events in the Forest of Dean. SoundSpace offers 4 practice rooms for bands, singers, solo artists of any age, and also houses a recording studio. The studio is run by The Music Works

We've made some changes to our timetable so here's everything you need to know:

The Drop (ages 10–16) | 3:30 – 5:00pm
Music Social (ages 16–25) | 5:30 – 7:00pm

📅 Tuesday
Inc Drop | 4:30 – 6:00pm

📅 Wednesday
The Drop (ages 10–16) | 3:30 – 5:00pm
Music Social (ages 16–25) | 5:30 – 7:00pm

📅 Thursday
Home Education Drop (ages 8–16) | 10:00am – 12:00pm
Youth Voice Session (coming soon!) | 5:30 – 7:00pm

🌿🎶 Introducing the Forest Holiday Drop - our new FREE holiday programme for young people!

If you're aged 11–16 and love music (or just want to give it a go), come and spend the morning or afternoon making music, learning new skills, and meeting new people. From DJ'ing and music production to singing, songwriting, and jamming as a band there's something for everyone, whatever your level.

30 March | 10am–12pm
1 April | 10am–12pm
7 April | 2pm–4pm - Now fully booked
8 April | 2pm–4pm
9 April | 2pm–4pm
10 April | 2pm–4pm
