We work with families, schools, businesses, stag and hens, youth groups and individuals. We provide outdoor instructor training and provide amazing career opportunities. Follow to find out about our career and training opportunities. Our campsite opens to the public every summer. Mendip Activity Centre is based on a unique 250-acre site nestled in the heart

of the Mendip Hills AONB. We're just 15 minutes from the M5 and Bristol Airport. We are fortunate to boast own rocksports quarry, indoor country Lodge, canvas accommodation, historic cave, target sport ranges, dry snowsports slope, an ancient woodland and rare, beautiful limestone grasslands. A short drive away is our own private watersports site, Hewish.

📣 ONE FINAL CHANCE to paddle at our watersports site at Hewish! 🥹

We've been paddling here since the 1990s but at the end of this season we'll be saying goodbye.

Mendip's very own lake will soon become our new home for Kayaking, Canoeing, Paddleboarding and Raft Building (and maybe Swimming 👀)

But for now, we're on the final few weeks at our private section of river at Hewish.

We're really pleased to be hosting Explore North Somerset at Mendip Activity Centre once again this September! 🙌

It's always great to welcome local businesses to Mendip and to work alongside North Somerset Council and industry leaders from across the region to share ideas, build connections and support the Visitor Economy.

Our CEO David Eddins will also be joining the speaker line-up, sharing some of Mendip's own experience around recruiting, retaining and developing great people.
