I genuinely wish I could work in timelapse! Behind the scenes thereā€™s a lot of prep work, thereā€™s moulding and drying (all over the house in this weather), filling paint pots and packing bags, boxing and delivering to the post office and prayers that everything will arrive safely!
99% of the time it all works out though so Iā€™m grateful for that šŸ’Ŗ

My kids. Itā€™s as plain and simple as that! I wanted two things out of the business and that was for my kids to be able to have things that we couldnā€™t afford to get them otherwise (cost of living, if you know, you know!) and also to be able to give myself some brain space from being ā€˜just mum!ā€™
Everyone needs time out and this way I get that, whilst making money for treats šŸ©·

Without a doubt, making names is my favourite thing to do! Itā€™s harder in respect of making sure they donā€™t break as they are delicate but thereā€™s something lovely about knowing that some little artiste has their name all decorated and on display!

Hereā€™s a little flavour! When plasterpaintpartyy started originally it was because my son was turning 6! He wanted something different to give his friends because ā€˜everyoneā€™s party bags are the same mumā€™ and he had a bit of a building obsession so I bought some brick man moulds and it all took off from there!
Currently plasterpaintpartyy offers party favours in so many different themes, Christmas Eve boxes, Easter basket treats and actual actual parties (Iā€™ll tell you more about them on a different day!)
I love the fact itā€™s helping kids get creative, and off iPads šŸ’Ŗ

Or in my case, reintroducing! Iā€™ve taken on a personal challenge of posting once a day for the month of Sept (see the second picture). Day one is all about introducing the business so here goes nothing šŸŽØ!
Iā€™m Karlie, a mum of three from Glasgow who has a passion for crafting, an obsession with coffee and a career in Youth Work at my core. I launched plasterpaintpartyy a couple of years ago and itā€™s gone from strength to strength šŸ’Ŗ
