The Malford Players’ are holding a meeting in the village hall at 7pm on Sunday 19th January to discuss the future direction of the group. All villagers are welcome to attend and voice their preferences for forthcoming events. We are also keen to expand the membership of the group so if there is anything that you would like to do, such as act, make costumes, find props, work the sound and lights or generally wield a hammer and nail in the name of beautifying the stage, please come along and make yourself known.

Hello Players and friends, I have a bit of a problem in as much as my other drama group, the Bath Operatic and Dramatic Society are putting on A Streetcar Named Desire in the Mission Theatre, Bath next week and our sound operator has let us down. If you are able to help and have time to commit to every night from 22nd to 28th September then please get in touch to pjpcullen"gmail.com.

💡
Did you know... A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE was named after a real Streetcar line? Named for its endpoint on Desire Street in the Ninth Ward, the Desire line ran down Canal Street onto Bourbon and beyond. It operated from 1920-1948; meaning that shortly after becoming famous on Broadway, it was retired in favour of quieter buses.

We’ll be bringing New Orleans to The Mission Theatre next month. Grab your tickets here:
