Bonnie is a warm-hearted SPCA worker in Gander whose love for animals is matched only by her compassion for people.

When thousands of stranded passengers suddenly arrive, Bonnie steps up to care for the many pets and animals left behind on grounded planes.

Based on a real person, Bonnie's story is another beautiful reminder of the extraordinary compassion shown by the people of Newfoundland in the days following 9/11.

Rehearsals for Come From Away are really taking off, and this week we reached a milestone as we created our first official plane.

If you know the show, you’ll know just how brilliantly the cast use simple staging and movement to create the illusion of aircraft. It’s one of the show’s most iconic theatrical moments, proving that sometimes the simplest ideas have the biggest impact.
