MARCH 2026 ROUND UP
Girlies. Let’s hold hands. March was heavy. Beautiful, and joyful at times, but heavy.
First of all, that’s honour Patricia, together 🤍 this month, we laid my lovely Nana to rest. What an incredibly emotional day. Half way through the funeral ceremony, we noticed a ladybird on my Uncle’s arm. She sat on my hand for prayers and hymns, before flying away when we left. I will forever be looking for her with the ladybirds 🐞
I also FINALLY got to see Greg Davies! I booked these tickets a lonnnnng time ago, and I managed to bag myself a front row seat! Before my best friend passed away, we promised we would stop flaking on plans and if Greg went on tour again, we would just go, no hesitation. So whilst he was incredibly funny, and being back in Newcastle was glorious, I’d have given anything to be there with you Clare 🌈
From Newcastle, I hopped on a train to Edinburgh to meet my man! My first time in Scotland. Immediately fell in love. Went to the with my love, got AutoWed and took pics in the shadow of Edinburgh castle. Food, drink, vibe, I loved it all.
Lots of posh people though (keep in mind I live in Blackpool, and I’d just come from Newcastle, I’m used to seeing barely dressed baddies with spray tans, chowing down on their cheesy garlic breads, but in Edinburgh, the girls wore floor length silk dresses, like formal dance ones, and got bottles of water and brown bread sandwiches from Co-Op at the end of their night… that’s money).
This months small win:
I had my first ever matcha at … life changing 🍵
