Chorovino

Chorovino Chorovino is an a ca****la group rehearsing at the Cholsey Pavilion in Oxfordshire, led by Her Divaship Elinor Carter.

We sing bespoke arrangements from all kinds of musical genre, unaccompanied, in four parts and off-copy (eventually). We meet Wednesday evenings from 7.30 to 9.00. And we have a wine break, not obligatory, but good to stop and be sociable anyway. Helps too when naming a choir instigated by a wine merchant. Recruiting: we currently number some 20 singers and we'd like to be a bit bigger, perhaps an

other two in each part. If you're interested, please get in touch and Elinor will arrange to meet you, get an idea of your voice and see how well we might suit each other.

Thought we'd better start making a noise about this, our first concert where we are asking our audience to pay! We're hoping we're not being too ambitious; we do plan to treat you to a complimentary glass of wine or soft drink and we'll be donating to one of our principal local charities, Style Acre, £1 for every ticket sold.

From our festive concert at the Pavilion 3rd December. Actually had to turn people away. Was it the free wine?
Our next outing will be March 28th at St Mary le More Church, Wallingford, a Saturday night and a much grander affair we hope, celebrating many of the bespoke a ca****la arrangements we have enjoyed over the last couple of years. And wine will still be involved, of course.
Many thanks to our much appreciated music director, Elinor Carter, for her unwavering commitment and passion. She makes us better.
