After my announcement earlier in the week that I've just launched a new website www.amandasivewright.com I am more than excited to bring you into the place where it all begins: the studio.

This is where my mornings often begin, with paper on the table, pastels close by, and a quiet bit of time to look properly at the things I want to hold onto: the curve of a horse’s neck, the softness in an animal’s eye, the shape of a bird, or the way light settles across a landscape.

Over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing more from this space: the work coming out of it, the process behind it, and the stories held inside each piece.

I'm so excited to share with you all that I've launched a new website today www.amandasivewright.com and my artwork finally has a place of its own online.

For years, my work has lived in the studio, shared only with friends in private, but now there's a online shop where my originals and the products made from them can come home with you.

Eleven original pieces are available from today, each one a subject I was eager to paint. Over the coming weeks, I'll share the story behind every single one.
