Some more memories for the anniversary week of Dracula. Many happy hours were spent creating initial concept art for costumes. I had to research fashion of 1897 and decide what styles and colours would help represent the characters’ personalities and narrative function. Part of the process of making fiction become ‘real’. We used these quick sketches to help us find (or make) the costumes.
