❤️ FROM THE SCUTTLEBROOK COMMITTEE ❤️
Last night we came together as a team to reflect on what was an incredible Scuttlebrook Wake 2026.
It was our biggest committee meeting yet, bringing together a fantastic group of volunteers who all share the same passion, keeping this wonderful Campden tradition alive for future generations.
Scuttlebrook Wake is a free event for the community to enjoy, but it takes a huge amount of time, effort, planning and financial support to make it happen.
Looking back on this year’s event, we think it’s fair to say it was one of the best yet.
Record numbers of floats.
Record numbers of window displays.
A packed High Street.
A thriving Scuttlefest.
Live music, laughter, community spirit and memories made together.
Last night we discussed what worked well, what we can improve, and how we can make next year’s event even better.
We would like to thank everyone who got involved, the residents, businesses, volunteers, performers, musicians, stallholders, participants and visitors who helped make the day such a success.
A special thank you goes to our sponsors. Without their generosity and support, Scuttlebrook Wake simply would not happen.
Scuttlefest continues to grow and become a real highlight of the day, bringing people together through live music and creating a wonderful atmosphere on the High Street.
However, events like this do come at a cost, and the musicians, equipment and infrastructure all need funding.
As we sign off for the summer, we would like to humbly remind everyone that donations are always welcome. Every pound helps us continue to provide a magical day for our community and helps ensure this treasured tradition continues to thrive.

From all of us on the Scuttlebrook Committee, thank you for your support, your enthusiasm and your community spirit.
We couldn’t do it without you.
See you next year.
