Our 2nd round of thanks, this time to our generous grant providers:

Chippenham Town Council is one of the country’s largest and most active Town Councils in the UK, working within a considered, democratic framework that is prudent, transparent, and respectful of each other and the local community. The overarching aspiration of the Council is ‘improving the quality of town life for present and future generations’, whilst putting the priorities of our residents and climate considerations at the heart of everything we do.

Chippenham Borough Lands Charity support local people and groups, maintain valuable green public spaces, and encourage community connection – contributing to a stronger, more connected Chippenham. Their organisational grants support a wide range of groups and organisations that play an active role in enriching local life. The funding enables inclusive initiatives that meet local needs, strengthen community ties, and broaden participation such as this carnival.

Congratulations to our Carnival Ambassadors!
Thank you for all your nominations. The committee can now announce our selections from these.

Sandie Webb - has given many years service to our town in many different ways. You can find her now at the Chippenham Hub working hard to bring Chippenham together and make it a better place.

Sam Compton - aka Sheila Tackya - brings laughter, joy, music, and glamour to everyone around him. A positive role model for inclusivity and kindness, he plays a huge role in Chippenham Pride and you will also find him at the Rivo or the Flying Monk.

Procession Route - Saturday 4th July. Please see these two maps.
The first shows the procession route from Chippenham College to the Market Place.
From this point, all vehicles will leave and walking entrants will go through the Market Place, back down the High Street, and then finish at Island Park. The second map shows this.
Vehicle passengers will be able to join the walking entrants for this final segment of the route.
We look forward to seeing you on the day!
