Here's the first single and title track from the album I produced for the brilliant Common Culture back in the depths of winter.
We did the big noisy band tracking at Crystalship Studios, Sheffield and overdubs back at the castle.

I had so much fun working on this album with my lovely pals Common Culture
We started in the small but brilliant -Studios in Sheffield right at the start of January, still nursing the Christmas / NY excesses, and wound up back at the castle overdubbing and mixing. I'll post more when you can HEAR it 🤩

Finally! We've been sitting on this for a few months now. I've been recording, hanging out with, and depping on drums for Sheelanagig since 2007. So chuffed they asked me to join them when the incredible John Blakeley had served his time.

Very much looking forward to making a racket and spending more time with these brilliant friends. See you out there in a sweaty folky mosh pit 🤟

We are delighted to announce that the amazing Josh Clark will be joining the band and bashing out the phat grooves for us! He has recorded and produced three of our albums, mastered another one and has been our long standing dep drummer for the past 20 years. To say he knows our music inside out is a major understatement. When he is not on the road with us you will also see him out and about with the legend that is Kate Rusby. His first official gig will be on the 19th March at Manchester Folk festival. Welcome on board Josh!
