If 2016 me and 2026 me met up for a coffee, they wouldnāt believe each other.
Mostly because 2016 me didnāt even like coffee. š
But thereās something heavier in that sentence too.
2016 me genuinely didnāt think heād make it to this age.
He couldnāt have imagined the things Iād survive, the people Iād lose, the places Iād go, or the person Iād become.
And somehow, on 14th September 2026, Iāll have been a tattoo artist for 10 years.
A decade of needles, blood, ink, mistakes, lessons, late nights, big dreams and bigger battles.
Ten years of leaving pieces of myself in other peopleās skin.
Looking back, I think the thing Iām most proud of isnāt just surviving.
Itās learning how to live.
To find reasons to keep going.
To rebuild when things fell apart.
To become someone Iām genuinely proud to be.
Iāll always carry gratitude for the people who stood beside me when I couldnāt stand beside myself. To my loved ones ā thank you. Iāll never take your love, patience or presence for granted.
And to every single one of my clients ā thank you for trusting me with your skin, your stories, your memories and your scars. Youāve given me far more than a career. Youāve given me a reason to keep creating.
Iām endlessly grateful for the life I once never thought Iād see.
2016 me wouldnāt recognise this life.
And honestly?
Iām fu***ng proud that I made it here.
Ten years in.
Still creating.
Still learning.
Still here.
