Many thanks to all of your who came to the 2026 festival all the sales and unused tokens of £1,321.43 have now been finalised and Don our branch chairman presented it to our charity of the year Chippenhams Doorway.

🚂🍺 All aboard for a cracking weekend! 🍺🚂

Our friends at the Swindon Beer Festival 2026 are steaming into the STEAM Museum this 22nd–24th October with fantastic real ales, ciders, perries, great food and live music! 🍻🎶

If you fancy a pint (or three!), why not pop along and show them some support? Cheers to another brilliant CAMRA festival! 🍺🍻

Great news from our Branch area

CAMRA SOUTH CENTRAL REGION POTY.

We are now coming to the final stages of this years Pub of the Year competition.

We are now down to the final four pubs who will now be judged again by different judges with the winner being announced at the end of July.
The winner will then go forward to represent the region in the final 16 pubs of the british Isles.

The four finalist are;

Berkshire. The Bell, Waltham St Lawrence.

Dorset. The Barking Cat, Poole.

Hampshire. The Flower Pots Inn, Cheriton.

Wiltshire. The New Three Cups Inn Malmesbury

I'm sure you will all join us in wishing all four pubs the best of luck.

🍻 And the people have spoken… drumroll please! 🥁

After a fantastic weekend at the 2026 Chippenham CAMRA Beer, Cider & Perry Festival, your votes are in and we’ve got some very worthy champions to crown 👑 Congratulations to all Brewers and Producers.

🏆 Beer Winner
Arbor Ales – Breakfast Stout
(Proving once again… stout is a perfectly acceptable breakfast choice 😉)

🍎 Cider Winner
Mates Cider Company – Linnet Rhubarb Cider
(Sweet, sharp and an absolute crowd-pleaser – like summer in a glass!)

🍐 Perry Winner
Old Stag Cider – Yellow Hufficap
(A proper pear-fect pint that clearly hit the spot!)

A massive thank you to everyone who came along, sampled the goods, and cast their votes.

Same time next year? We’ll get the barrels ready for the 23rd and 24th of April 2027… you bring the thirst! 😄

Thank you all for coming to see us this weekend. It's always good to know the months of planning are appreciated. We thoroughly enjoy having you as our visitors. We're still counting the beer of the festival and the cider of the festival. Thank you for putting your votes in and thank you for the donations to our charity, Doorway. We'll let you know how much you donated when we've finished counting that too.
