5 details you might miss in my work

Tonal Wool layering
British Wool textures
Stainless steel settings
Organic surface variation
Landscape - inspired palettes

The smallest details often take the longest.

I'm endlessly drawn to subtle shifts in texture and colour - the kinds of details you only notice when holding a piece in your hands.

Exactly why exhibition matter.

Come and see me, Natalie Pymm (paintings & lino prints) and Caroline Selvey (sculpture & ceramics) during Bucks Art Weeks 6th - 21st June 2026.

Entry no 274/275/276 (6th - 14th, Chesham Bois, HP6 5NT).

Inspired by the gentle colours of the ocean.

Each piece begins with hand-felted British wool before being set into a contemporary stainless steel form.

Quiet textures. Soft structure. A sense of place. Romney wool from Romney Marsh.

Save this post if you love calm coastal palettes.

These will be coming with me to Bucks Art Weeks (entry no 275, Chesham Bois, HP6 5NT).

A selection of my jewellery is also available

There's something special about preparing work for exhibition.
Quiet hours in the studio. Pouring concrete or layering wool. Soft coastal palettes. Pieces shaped slowly by hand.

This June i will be exhibiting during Bucks Art Weeks (6th -21st), with work also showing at Freya Jones in Buckingham and Fitch & Fellows in Thame.

You will find me in person at Creatives at No 6 in Chesham Bois.

Over the next few weeks I'll be sharing the process, materials and stories behind the collection.

Texture shaped slowly by hand.

I'll be exhibiting at the Soutlands Arts Easter fair this weekend 04/04/26 ✨️

I'll be bringing a collection of wool wall pieces and handcrafted jewellery, exploring the contrast between soft, tactile fibres and raw, sculptural forms.

If you're nearby come and see the work in person - it's always about texture, detail, and how the pieces feel as much as how they look.

Southlands Arts Centre, West Drayton
04/04/26 - 11am to 4pm

True quality is discovered, not told.

Don't trust labels or reputation- beauty often hides where you least expect it. Engage directly with your materials and explore them yourself.

I first worked with British Wool from Northern England and was stunned by it's texture, colour and softness. My assumptions about "premium" wool completely shifted - quality is discovered through experience.

Next time you pick up a new material, touch it, play with it, explore it. What "hidden" quality might you discover ✨️

Three materials. One colour story 🌿

Concrete. Ink. Wool.

Raw texture meets fluid mark-making meets soft, hand-felted fibre - all layered in shades of moss lichen and deep woodland green.

These three pendants capture the landscape in three different ways:

Industrial strength
Expressive detail
Tactile warmth

Bold enough to stand alone. Subtle enough to wear every day.

These will be coming with me to this weekend.

If you can't wait, I'll also pop them in my shop, link in bio.

Artful pieces inspired by British landscapes. 💚
