What a glorious sunny afternoon of singing we had on Sunday at Bishops Palace Gardens in Chichester, as part of the Festival of Chichester.

Along with seven other fantastic choirs, we performed to a packed garden of appreciative people, a set of our favourite musical theatre songs.

Chichester Musical Theatre Choir are very excited to be singing at the forthcoming Festival of Chichester - in the stunning Bishop's Palace Gardens - on Sunday 14th June, between 2-4pm.

'A celebration of Community Choral Singing.'

Chichester is home to a number of community choirs which offer a wide variety of musical genres – traditional and modern folk, musical theatre, the great American songbook, original songs, classical, church music, gospel, jazz, pop and everything in between.

At this annual event some of these choirs assemble in The Bishop’s Palace Gardens and spend a joyous afternoon sharing their favourite songs, singing together and inviting anyone present to join in!

The setting is stunning and the singing comes from the heart – it’s a great way to spend a Sunny Afternoon (now there’s a song!)
Come along (it’s free), bring your folding chair and enjoy listening to the community choirs of Chichester. It’s a beautiful event.

Oh – and be prepared to sing!

Last term's charity donations

Following last term’s Spring showcase, I’m so pleased to share that Chichester Musical Theatre Choir were able to make a donation to Breast Cancer UK for an amazing £1,050 - who have sent their thanks for our support.

Such a lovely reminder that what we do together can have a positive impact beyond the choir as well. 💗

Off the back of the success of our recent Spring Showcase at St Pauls, we have LIMITED SPACES AVAILABLE for some new members.

We will be running a FREE Taster session on Monday 13th April 2026 at 7.30pm, at New Park Community Centre - where you can come along, have a sing, and find out what we are all about!

• Fun, Friendly weekly rehearsals.
• Regular Performances.
