Meet the Artists tomorrow 11 to 1pm Fernleigh

Kate Simon Kate Simon
Based in the serene landscapes of West Sussex, Kate draws inspiration directly from the blooms in her garden. Her work beautifully spans intimate still lifes and delicate, vibrant landscapes, bringing the essence of the English countryside to life.

Philippa Richardson .richardson
Based in Brighton, Philippa is a fine artist specializing in rich, highly textured oil paintings and intricate printmaking. Her detailed figurative work and domestic still lifes explore the lived feeling of environments, masterfully capturing light, depth, and unique perspectives that completely transform a space.

Lucy Dixon Lucy Dixon
Based in Brighton, Lucy holds a BA in Fine Art Painting and an MA in Illustration. Her work masterfully distills the ethereal essence of lucid dreams into vivid, condensed visual narratives. Her distinct style has led to major high-profile commissions, including a recent project for Battersea x Apple.

Lisa Pfeiffer Lisa Pfeiffer
An international artist with a background spanning RISD, Florence, and California, Lisa now paints from Hackney Downs Studios in East London. Her latest abstract works use shimmering gold leaf and symbolic floral forms to explore memory, city life, and the enduring nature of human connection.

Zoë H***e
Since completing her BA and MA in Fine Art at the prestigious City & Guilds of London Art School, Zoë has been a prominent fixture in the London exhibition scene. At first glance, her stunning series of sculptural relief works tricks the eye into seeing physical volumes deeply cut into the surface—challenging the viewer’s perception of space and material.

We are delighted to showcase the beautiful still-life works of West Sussex-based artist Kate Simon as part of our current exhibition.
Drawing rich inspiration from the vibrant flowers in her own garden and the serene surrounding countryside, Kate’s delicate oil paintings bring the fleeting beauty of nature into stunning, tactile focus. From the soft, intimate strokes of Catkins and Tulips to the abundant, rich textures of Red Jug and Geraniums, her work captures a beautiful sense of life and warmth.

Now Showing at YAP.
We are proud to introduce three new artists whose work explores the intersections of domesticity, memory, and material.

Jazmin van Breda ( ): A Central Saint Martins graduate who uses a soft oil painting style to capture “liminal spaces” and the quiet “eeriness of absence” within the objects of our daily lives.

Sam Vicary ( ): Based in Wales, Sam’s practice is rooted in the “memory of place,” often beginning with stitches made directly in the landscape to follow the physical seams of the earth.

Zoë H***e ( ): Zoë creates “ethereal and glowing pieces” through a process of cutting and layering paper behind frosted Perspex, exploring the tension between concealment and emergence.
