Today we want to wish the biggest GOOD LUCK to our amazing students Olivia, Macie, Freya, Amelie, Darcy and Courtney as they receive their GCSE results! 🖤🎉

We hope today brings you all the results you’ve been working so hard for and everything you need as you take the next exciting step in your education. Whatever your results, remember that they are just one part of your journey, and we are already so proud of everything you’ve achieved.

We’re especially excited to see where your next adventures take you:
🎭 Macie and Courtney are heading to Chesterfield College to study Performing Arts.

🖤 Meet the Team… Amelie! 🖤

Next up in our Student Helpers Edition is Amelie, who is our final student helper to introduce! 🖤

Amelie joined GMTC just over two years ago when she moved to Chesterfield, and she has been such a valued member of our GMTC family from her very first class.

Since joining us, we’ve watched Amelie’s confidence grow so much, and she continues to be a member of our Inters class. Towards the end of 2025, she also started helping with our Mini Musical Theatre class, and she’s been absolutely brilliant!

Amelie has built such a lovely bond with our Minis and is always so patient, encouraging and fun with them. She’s become a familiar and much-loved face in the class, and the students are always so excited to see her! 🖤

Amelie is also such a fantastic inspiration to our younger performers. She’s recently achieved something amazing herself, gaining a place at CAPA College in Wakefield, where she’ll be starting her studies this September! 🖤

It’s so lovely for our younger students to have someone like Amelie around who they can look up to. She’s continuing to work hard towards her own performing dreams whilst also encouraging the next generation of GMTC performers to believe in themselves too.

Amelie is such a fun person to have around, and I know Tasha has really appreciated all of her help in the Minis class. She’s become a wonderful part of the team, and I’m so grateful for everything she does. 🖤

A huge well done to Evie Bradford and Ella Bennett on their incredible results from CAPA College! 🌟

Their hard work, dedication and talent have paid off, and we are so proud that they can now continue pursuing their dreams through higher education and further professional training. ❤️

🌟 Evie is heading to the prestigious Laine Theatre Arts to continue her training.

🌟 Ella is off to the wonderful Addict Dance Academy to take the next step in her journey.

We are incredibly proud of both of these talented young performers and everything they have achieved so far. We can’t wait to watch their journeys unfold and see where their passion, determination and talent take them next!

🖤A Level Results Day!🖤

Today we want to wish the biggest GOOD LUCK to our wonderful senior student, Evie, as she receives her A Level results! 🤍✨

Evie has shown incredible dedication, resilience and determination throughout her studies, working tirelessly whilst continuing to make time for the thing she loves most – musical theatre and singing. Her passion, commitment and hard work never go unnoticed, and we couldn’t be prouder of everything she has achieved already.

Whatever today brings, we know how much effort has gone into reaching this moment, and that in itself is something to be incredibly proud of.

🖤 Meet the Team… Honey! 🖤

Next up in our Student Helpers Edition is Honey! 🖤

Honey joined GMTC back in 2018 after watching her little sister start our Minis class. She quickly decided that musical theatre was something she wanted to try too, so she joined our Junior class at just 6 years old… and boy, did we know about it! 😂🖤

Honey came into GMTC with SO much energy, talent and an extreme amount of flexibility! We knew very quickly that we had a little star on our hands. 🖤

Honey started helping with our Mini Musical Theatre class in September 2025, and although she’s only been a helper for a relatively short time, the Minis absolutely adore her already!

At the beginning of every lesson, you’ll often find Honey gathering the children together and asking them what they’ve been up to or whether they have anything exciting they’d like to tell the group. She’s brilliant at encouraging our youngest performers to use their voices, speak confidently in front of others and feel comfortable being themselves. 🖤

Honey assists our Mini Musical Theatre teacher, Tasha, each week, and I know Tash really appreciates having her there to help keep the Minis engaged, encouraged and having fun!

It’s so lovely seeing our older students grow into performers who can inspire and support the younger children coming through GMTC, and Honey is already becoming a wonderful role model for our Minis. 🖤

🖤 Meet the Team… Sophie! 🖤

Next up in our Student Helpers Edition is Sophie! 🖤

Sophie has been part of the GMTC family since the beginning of 2016, meaning she has now been coming to classes for over 10 years! How crazy is that?! 🥹🖤

Not long after joining our classes, Sophie also started having singing lessons with me, becoming the youngest singing student I had ever taught at just 5 years old! She’s been such a committed member of GMTC ever since, always throwing herself into every class and working so hard both in lessons and at home.

Sophie has always been one of those students who picks up routines and songs incredibly quickly, so it makes perfect sense that she’s now such a brilliant help in our classes! She remembers so many of our routines and is always happy to go over them herself to make sure she knows exactly what she’s doing so she can help the younger students. 🖤

She’s also fantastic at leading warm-ups safely and helping students get the very best out of themselves. Sophie has developed a really strong understanding of technique in both singing and dancing over the years, and it’s lovely to see her passing that knowledge and encouragement on to the younger performers.

Everyone absolutely loves Sophie, and she has become such a valued and familiar face within our Junior classes. 🖤

Sophie will be continuing alongside Blossom in our Junior Musical Theatre classes, working alongside the teachers who will be taking over from me while I’m on maternity leave. I know having familiar faces like Sophie and Blossom around will be such a lovely reassurance for the students while everything is a little different.

It’s amazing to think that the little 5-year-old who started singing lessons with me all those years ago is now helping the next generation of GMTC students! 🥹🖤

🖤 Meet the Team… Blossom! 🖤

We’re moving on to our wonderful student helpers, starting with Blossom! 🖤

Blossom joined GMTC back in 2019 as a very eager and confident 8-year-old who was absolutely desperate to get involved in musical theatre! And look at her now! 🥹🖤

Blossom is such a joy to teach, but she’s also become such a brilliant person to have by my side when I’m teaching. She is incredibly helpful with the younger students and has always had such a natural way with all of the children.

Around 2½ years ago, Blossom started assisting me in classes and has been by my side ever since. So, our students already know Blossom really well! She’s very much a familiar face around GMTC and is someone the children feel comfortable with, which makes her such a valuable part of our classes. 🖤

She’s particularly brilliant at helping new students settle in, encouraging them to find their feet, make new friends and feel completely at ease during those first few lessons. She has a lovely way of making everyone feel included, and I know the younger students really enjoy having her around.

Blossom is such a friendly, kind and caring person, and it’s been amazing watching her grow not only as a performer, but as a young person too. I can already see so much potential for her to become a fantastic teacher one day, and I really hope she continues to explore that side of herself as she gets older.

It’s lovely to see students grow up within GMTC and eventually become the people who help support the next generation of performers. Blossom is a perfect example of that, and I’m so grateful for everything she does for our classes. 🖤

🖤 Meet the Team… Grace! 🖤

Next up is Grace! 🖤

Grace has been part of the GMTC family right from the very beginning, joining us as one of our original students when we first opened our doors back in 2014. It’s been so special watching her grow through the different classes over the years and develop into the performer she is today.

Three years ago, Grace headed off to Birmingham to study Musical Theatre at Performers College, and after recently graduating, she’s now back home and excited to begin her teaching journey with us. 🖤

Grace has always had a real passion for acting, so she’s been shadowing our acting teacher, Chris, to prepare for taking over his classes during his two weeks of paternity leave. With her professional training, enthusiasm and love for the craft, I know she’s going to be the perfect person to step in while Chris is away.

Many of you will already know Grace from her time as one of our student helpers in the Junior classes. She was always brilliant with the younger students, and I’m so pleased that she’s recently started joining us again on Wednesdays to help out. It’s been lovely having her back, and the students have loved seeing a familiar face. 🖤

There’s something really special about seeing one of our very first students come full circle and return as part of the teaching team. It makes me so proud to see how far she’s come, and I know she’s going to be a fantastic role model for the next generation of GMTC performers.
