I'm back now it's safer to paint again. Already done some lovely, private parties. I will only be doing corporate events for the local companies that used me on a regular basis previously. I am still careful with sanitising brushes and my hands between each face paint.

The lovely Paula Bargh participated in F.A.C.E. covid training. She fed this information back to her fellow painty friends. As you can see, even if we follow all the H&S guidance, the extra costs & time alone means it's not really viable to paint at parties. We could do a 1 on 1, body art session and that's it really 🥺. Even if we allowed enough time and passed on the costs to customers it takes the pleasure out of face painting for the children and the artists. More like a surgical procedure 😖

Unfortunately it is still not safe for face painters to return to work. Even beauty therapists are not allowed to apply makeup or do any facial treatments. Plus they will work under strict social distancing rules and single client appointments. We also have to follow guidelines for party and entertainment businesses. Even if we're very firm and organised, children get so excited and it would be a task in itself trying to get everyone to stick to 2mtr distancing. We're missing our events too.
