🚨Happy International Dance Day 😁

So looking forward to class tonight with my Pen*stone Leisure Centre ladies. However this is a throw back to 2020 when I attempted to teach this routine from my garden and people joined through their phone, laptops or tablets. It was a really cold evening. What must the neighbours have thought 🤔! I'm so glad we can get back indoors together.

Thank you to Dance Studio Owners Association for organising this music and routine .

Dudes can dance 🪩♂️

What does an ex England football player, a former superbowl champion and a heavy weight boxing champion have in common?

Rio Ferdinand, Lynn Swan and Evander Holyfield have all had dance training and they aren't the only sportsmen to benefit. So why aren't more boys joining dance classes?

To mark International Dance Day MK Dance is planning to host a class for those who feel like they wouldn't fit into a "normal" dance class and especially not one focusing on ballet!

Reasons to give dance a go:
💪 It really works coordination and timing, critical for any sport.

💪 It all comes from core strength and balance. No one can beat that dance gymnast.

💪 Flexibility is key for a wide range of motion at ground level and in the air, important for so many ball games.

Dance is for everyone so if you are interested in a class for boys in commercial dance then please message me and I'll provide more details about a special session at the end of April 🤩.
