✨ Be a radiator, not a drain. 🔥
Tonight some of my senior Street dancers were tired. Really tired. And rather than simply asking them to “push through”, we had a little chat about energy.
I told them: You can be a radiator or a drain.
A drain takes energy from the room — “I’m tired, I can’t do this, I don’t want to.”
A radiator might be tired too… but they choose to give energy. To smile. To encourage. To cheer someone else on. To keep going. To lift the people around them.
And the beautiful thing is, energy is contagious!
We don't always get to choose how tired we feel, how difficult something is, or what kind of day we've had.
But we do have a choice about what energy we bring into the room.
So tonight, we worked on being radiators. 🔥Not perfect. Not full of endless energy. Just choosing to give a little more than we take.
Because sometimes, the person who lights up the room isn't the person with the most energy…it's the person who chooses to share what they've got. ✨
