This has been my office for the day sorry not sorry. Dates for the new studio are starting to fill up fast so if your wanting booking in get in touch. I’ve got a few more messages to work through and a couple of designs to finish but other than that things are getting sorted. I’ve started on the list of things for the new studio and will be getting them ordered soon ready to go in. More updates coming with a possible sneak peak here n there of proposed studio knock ups but no official look has been cemented yet.

Anyone who’s been to the studio has probably never seen it the same way round more than once. I’m constantly stripping it out cleaning it down and setting it up different. Here’s a few looks over the years and the last two pics are the last I’ve taken as an empty shell. Designs for the new one have begun.

Goooooood morning. So here’s the studio update I’ve been waiting to post. It’s later than I wanted but it’s here now.
Please like and share this about and I’ll be getting my diary sorted and ready to book folk in.
One door closes another opens and this one is gonna be wide open. Nervous yes, confident in building something bigger definitely yes.

Yesterdays tattoos. Started the day out with the under the knee butterfly. Client sent over the design idea after using chat gtb to help with the inspiration. The design idea was the full leg but it was very cluttered so we’ve decided to add the butterfly and weee gonna lay in the rest of the leg next session with flowers and mandala.
The afternoon session was the start of a full leg sleeve. As a starting point we’ve added the leopard to the shin with a few flowers at the top. We’re then gonna add a calf piece and two side panels aswell then gap fill between. This will then be added up the leg in the future.

Sunday Funday was flipped on me today. I’m the one who usually throws curve balls design wise at people but today I had it done to me. I came ready to go design in hand but in an unexpected twist this design was thrust upon me. Spun me a little but in true fashion we cracked on and got down to it. We matched the size to the design I did a couple of weeks ago on the right thigh and shaded the design just how the client wanted it. I’ve used dot shading to add a touch of dimension through the design.
This was the clients design and shading idea so was happy to do it exactly like he wanted. Turned out nice.

Saturday we tackled the shin of an on going full lower design. We’ve added the smile now cry later masks to the shin sling with the dice in the side connecting the back to the front and the Life’s a Gamble under the knee. We started the shading off with the darker tone but still need to do the lighter tones and background filling. The life’s a gamble will be left open and the area around it solid black shaded.

Let the posts and updates begin. These designs are a few I’ve done recently. Thursday, Friday to start with. Black and grey split face design on the thigh, autism linework boy holding a balloon, flowers in the shoulder to fill it out more and a spine design. I’m working towards some big changes so playing catch up all the time.

Here’s a few from the last couple of days. Full forearm arm family tree with father and daughter underneath. Black n grey design made by the client. You will have to excuse my photography skills there not the best. Next up was the script on the centre of the thigh. The knees turn in slightly so we went higher and centred the script on the centre of the thigh. This design is for the clients nan who recently past. Last up is the start of an upper arm hdd as of sleeve. We’ve laid out the linework ready for shading. This is the first tattoo for the client so we went easy on him. Sun rays, and shading to be added.

The busy days didn’t stop on Sunday we carried on into Monday and started out with a blast over design. Full belly part chest cobra design. There’s more to be added but this is as much as we got done even with the aid of numbing cream. Massive design and had to use 4 A4 sheets of paper to get the stencil right. Line work only so far more to follow.
To finish the day up we added the 31 design on the bicep.
Can anyone tell me what the 31 represents or where it comes from??
