Sunday Funday.
We started Sunday funday out with a new client to the studio and his first ever tattoo. Did it hurt a tad yeah, did he finish the tattoo hell yeah. We started out with a simple DNA strand design but ended up adding the skin rip around it to give it more depth. The strands in the DNA are the colours of Autism pieces usually laid out as jigsaw pieces. Once this settles down the shading will lighten and the colours will pop.
To finish the day we lined out this thigh clock skull and rose design. Again a tad spicy so we ended the session early on this one so next time we will be shading it through out and adding the top swirl and the time on the clock.

Friday and Saturdays tattoos all in one post. Friday we started out with an inner forearm rose and clock design in black and grey they time set on the clock to the clients child’s time of birth. This was sized to fill the arm with possibility of adding in the future. Next up was the upper arm Lilly design. There should have been a 3rd Lilly but the pain was a tad much so we ended the session where we did. This still looks a nice piece and again can be added to int the future.
Saturday was a tad different was a slower day in the studio as the two in chair were taking photos of the new location for me and also did I small promo video. Can’t thank them both enough for the day. The tattoos they got were patch work designs on the leg and upper arm. There was supposed to be a head band of barbwire but we opted against this but will be looking at this in the future. I was also given a stunning guitar to hang in the studio which will be posted out once hung.

Designs done over the last couple of days. Really need to separate these more but always playing catch up at the minute. Im not gonna go in order they were done. The infinity symbol speaks for itself nice design with a pop of colour for the clients dad. The we have the heart with butterfly on the collar bone. The highland cow design is a cover up of 3 names. The actual design is from a fridge magnet shaded throughout with again the pop of colour. Last up the outer forearm with flowers the ASL meaning for love and a cochlear implant in the hand also. This design is for the clients son who is deaf.

Here’s a few tattoos done over the bank holiday Monday and Tuesday. Very mixed bag of designs but all in black and grey. The cross we had to play about with to melt sure it fig rift and ended up moving the placement. This was also an ai design army over by the client so I had to adapt it to work. The highland cow sits nicely in the leg which will match the other leg once that’s been added to. The other 3 are little designs.

Sunday Funday with a splash of Saturday involved. Saturday was blackout day. I broke out the big cartridges that day and went at it for as long as the client could take it. Let’s see how it heals out. Later in the afternoon I sneaked in a traditional swallow in the hand.
Sunday Funday started out with a full colour lower leg snake rose and dagger design. Reds, greens, teal, yellow all thrown into the mixing pot. The teal and yellow do look muted cos of the blood coming through but once that settles down it will pop like crazy. Last up on Sunday Funday was the Chest butterfly design with leaf bits and a touch of pink in the rings. Good way to end a crazy week. Start fresh bank holiday Monday.

Fridays tattoo. Change of plans today started a little later than wanted to. But nine the less here’s what we got up to. Full thigh mandala style design with flanking flowers either side. Dot shaded in the middle balanced off with solid black work and line work.

Morning folks here’s Thursdays tattoo offering. We started the day out with the mandala pattern with flowers on the forearm. The butterfly was already done elsewhere so we had to work around that. I tidied that up aswell to match the new tattoo. So the mandala we intentionally put it at an angle facing into the body more for a different look and to deal with a cover up on the wrist area. And the original design sent over was similar in layout. This is dot shaded throughout and then the flowers added above and shaded nicely. There is talk of extending up the arm further but we will see where we go in the future. To finish the day we did the two name infinity symbol. The names are written by the clients grand children and added to the design.
September slots are filling fast and October has started to take a hit aswell so if you want booking in get your messages in fast. I’m replying as quick as I can also but currently still doing 5 people’s jobs so please bear with me. I’m a bloke and struggle to multitask.

Long one today. One client, two hand jobs a bit on the forearm and how to avoid a burn and an old tattoo all in one day. We started out talking the client out of doing a small family on the inner forearm under the old tattoo. There wasn’t enough room what so ever so after a little chat we went big and moved the placement so when the arm is down everything lines up perfectly. We added the rose on the hand and two on the inner forearm. More will be added once the burn heals fully. Black and grey shaded throughout with with open skin used as highlights. After we tackled these sectionals we thought it would be a good idea to flip him over and do the second hand job. Full hand skull design onto the knuckles and into the forearm. Again black and grey shaded to match the older tattoos.

Mondays tattoo offering we started out the day laying out the rest of the lower forearm half sleeve. We started it a couple of weeks ago with the outer section then today we moved on to the inner forearm. Stairway to heaven with a clock and clouds. There’s loads left to do on this and some will be done at a much later date but this is what we’ve done today. Line work only connecting the two designs and planning the gap filler area.
The afternoon session was an outer forearm lioness with cubs design. This again wasn’t the original idea but a curve ball design thrown in by yours truly again. 2 for 2 with the curve balls. Shaded through out with the pink bows to make it pop. Really nice design that can be added to in wanted in the future.

Saturday and Sunday Funday are combined cos I didn’t grab photos of Sunday morning like an absolute idiot so we only have Saturday to look at a Which was a half day for me cos I needed a drink or 6,7,8,9………
Upper arm shoulder design that will link into the back piece we started a week or so ago. This will be added to and blended into the back section. I didn’t plan to do this one it was a curve ball design I sneak in the mix to see people reactions. And again they went with the curve ball.
This is a mix of shading, dot work, black work, line work it has a bit of everything.
