Long time no speak!

I hope you are all safe and well, Absolutely crazy times we are living in with this pandemic. I hope dearly that you are all safe and well and that we can make a move towards a somewhat normal life sometime soon.

As a lot of you know i've been away living and working in Austria for the winter. Business continued to flow nicely while I was away and our rooms remained fully booked for duration. I came back in March due to Covid-19 and had to temporarily close down Chesterfield rehearsal space due to Corona and the enforced lockdown for businesses.

Hopefully we're now on the right path to re-opening and we just wanted to give you an update about what we are planning for the future and also to get some feedback from you guys and what safety procedures you would expect.

As a start, from next week we will be re-opening our Drum Room. It is the only facility we can currently provide that that we feel can be truly safe. It will work on a one in, one out basis and will be require hand sanitation and surface cleansing before and after each booking. Hand Sanitiser and surface cleaner will be provided and customers will be required to give a quick wipe to any surface used.

I have relocated the drum room into Room 1, a larger room with plenty of space and ventilation. The Room will be available for booking at an hourly rate of £10 an hour and will have a full drum kit, a choice of cymbals, stands, thrones etc There will be a full PA for your play-along tracks with wifi available and the usual full toilet facilities minus the use of the communal kitchen area.

We have a lot of things planned for the summer and will keep you updated as we move along and adapt to this new way of life. Your safety is our number one priority and we will ensure everything is done in a safe and controlled enviroment.

Ch...ch....ch....ch... changes!

Hello everyone! We are totally changing the way our booking system works.
As of tomorrow our online booking system will be taken down and the rooms will only be available to hire on our monthly deals. Many of the slots have been taken and we only have very limited spaces left so its first come first serve.
We are also extending our weekend hours.
All existing bookings will be honoured but room hire after that will be exclusive to monthly accounts.

We currently have the following slots left available in room 4:

Tuesday weekly 5pm-7pm £40 per month slot
Thursday weekly 6pm-8pm, 8pm-10pm £40 per month slots
Friday 8pm-10pm £40 per month slot
Saturday 1pm-4pm, 4pm-7pm, 7pm-10pm £60 per month slot
Sunday 10am-1pm, 1pm-4pm,4pm-7pm, 7pm-10pm £60 per month slot

At Chesterfield Rehearsal space we care massively about the environment. We have solar panels on our roof which generates around 75% of our electric and we use a renewable energy supplier for any other energy we get from the grid.
We are always looking for new ways to reduce our carbon footprint and as of today we are operating a zero waste policy.
Please try to refrain from bringing any single use plastic and non recyclables into our premises and that any waste left over from your rehearsal is taken home and properly recycled.

We will in turn make a small donation every month to a zero waste charity in a bid to help clean up the effects of our throw-away society.
