✨ A FEW MORE FROM THE TATTOO ARCHIVES… ✨

A little collection of tattoos from a couple of lovely clients that I’ve been meaning to share!

First up, we’ve got a few cheeky little pieces for one of my regular clients! 😂

There’s always a story behind his tattoos, and honestly, our sessions are always a good laugh. From the meaningful to the downright cheeky, every piece has its own reason for being there — and that’s what makes tattooing so much more than just putting ink on skin.

And then we have some much more meaningful additions for another lovely client. These little pieces were added alongside her existing tattoos as a way of keeping the memory of her late father close.

Small tattoos, but incredibly personal reasons behind them. ❤️‍🩹

And I think that's one of the things I love most about tattooing.

Sometimes it's something fun, silly and completely whimsical that makes you smile every time you see it.

Other times, it's something much deeper — a person, a moment, a memory or a feeling that you never want to lose.

Whatever the reason, tattoos can give us a permanent reminder of the things we don't want to forget. 🖋️

🦋 A LITTLE SOMETHING FROM THE ARCHIVES! 🦋

I’m a little behind on sharing some of my tattoos, so here’s one from a while back!

This was for a lovely new client who chose this beautiful ornamental butterfly design, featuring delicate flowing linework, fine details, little hearts and botanical inspired elements.

I really enjoyed working on this one. The symmetrical butterfly sits beautifully at the centre, with all the sweeping lines and tiny details extending outwards to create a really elegant, balanced piece.

There’s a lot of fine, intricate linework packed into this design, so keeping those lines clean and consistent was key — especially with all the little curls, dots and delicate hanging details.

And she sat brilliantly! 👏 Which always makes working on a piece like this an absolute pleasure.

🌙☀️ A MATCHING PAIR OF EEVEELOUTIONS! ☀️🌙

It was lovely welcoming this new client into the studio, who decided to go for not one, but two matching tattoos!

They chose these gorgeous minimal line art designs featuring Espeon and Umbreon, with their flowing ears and tails giving each piece a really elegant, almost magical feel.

I love the simplicity of these designs. The clean black contour work, delicate details and little winking expressions give them plenty of personality without needing loads of shading or colour.

And of course, the sun and moon theme between Espeon and Umbreon makes them such a perfect pairing. ☀️🌙

Two different Pokémon, two individual tattoos, but designed to work beautifully together as a matching set.

🌿 Another flash favourite! 🌿

Always lovely to have this client back in the studio! She’s a regular fan of my flash designs, and this time she picked another one from one of my available sheets.

I love the detail in this piece...delicate fineline work and botanical elements all come together to create a really feminine but slightly emotional design. The contrast between the fine, intricate lines in the flowers and leaves and the heavier black areas in the lips and facial details helps give the tattoo plenty of depth while keeping the overall look delicate.

There are also lots of little details packed into this design, from the individual eyelashes and facial features to the tiny flowers, leaves and tears, so keeping everything clean, balanced and precise was really important.
And, as always, she sat brilliantly! 👌 It makes working on all those finer details much easier for me.

🎃 Some Nightmare Before Christmas magic 🎃

Always love having a returning client back in the chair, and this one was such a fun custom piece!

A huge fan of The Nightmare Before Christmas film, she already had a Jack Skellington tattoo and wanted to extend her collection with something a little more unusual.

So we went for the fanged duck toy from the “Making Christmas” scene — one of those quirky little details that true fans of the film will recognise! 🦆🦇

I absolutely love how this one turned out. The bold colours, spooky moonlit background, little bats and, of course, those brilliant fangs give it so much character. The pops of yellow and orange against the purples and blues really make the whole piece stand out.

It was designed as a custom piece, adding another little piece of Halloween Town to her collection.

I love when clients bring me ideas that aren't the obvious choices and give me the chance to create something a little different! 👊

🍓 It’s never too late for your first tattoo! 🍓

This one is a little bit special.
This is the third generation from the lovely family who came into the studio recently, and unlike the other two, she decided to go for a custom piece rather than one of the flash designs.

She’s always wanted a strawberry tattoo, but life got in the way and somehow she just never got around to it.

Until now. 👊

At a point in life when she could have easily continued putting it off, she decided that there was no reason to wait any longer — and this little strawberry became her first ever tattoo!

She is proof that it is never too late to do something you've always wanted to do. Whether you're 18 or much later in life, if you've always wanted that tattoo, there's no deadline. 🍓

It was a pleasure to be part of such a special family session, and I'm so glad she finally got her strawberry!

⚡ FLASH DEAL – 3 GENERATIONS, 1 TATTOO SESSION! ⚡

This was a pretty special session for me as I had the pleasure of tattooing three generations of the same family! 👨‍👩‍👧

These two pieces were chosen from my current flash collection for a mother and daughter, and I love how different they are while still having that same delicate, magical feel.

🦋 The first is a beautiful hand reaching up towards a butterfly, surrounded by delicate florals, leaves and little celestial details.

🌙 The second is a more whimsical piece featuring a pterodactyl soaring through a crescent moon and stars.

The third generation also joined us for the session, but chose to go for a custom piece rather than one of the flash designs. That one deserves its own post and its own story, so I'll be sharing that one separately soon! 👀

And of course, these two were both done as part of the August Flash Deal!
