A lot can change in a month…seasons, crazy weather, unexpected family events. We were incredibly lucky to explore the Norwegian fjords recently and some days experienced all four seasons in one morning. As always I made an illustrated diary of our trip, which is currently on display on our studio gallery along with a few new paintings. We are not currently open every day but it’s been lovely to meet new and regular customers when we are, so big thanks to all recent collectors! As always you are welcome to visit if you see our ‘open’ sign on The Rows but if coming to Chester to see us, please let us know - we don’t want to miss you!

One of my personal favourites, happy memories of all those childhood car drives over the Dolomites to Venice, and many more Italian trips since. It’s one of those paintings that I will never sell but we love these superb canvas editions, beautifully presented by our bespoke framers. It’s always brilliant when customers share their connections to a place and I was delighted this went to a new happy home.

We have been busy in our gallery in the heart of Chester meeting new customers and greeting regular collectors. Pop up to The Rows this bank holiday weekend and see what’s new. We are back from our latest travels with sketchbooks full of inspiring ideas for new paintings. Browse the current collection including paintings from Chester to Tokyo. Plus of course all my regular painting destinations around North Wales and Europe (especially Italy). Lots to see and explore this week in our beautiful city including the Chester Heritage Festival.
