Charity number 1161941 An annual concert is held in July and a Christmas concert in December.

The Chester Community Orchestra, an amateur orchestra based near Chester, was founded in 2001 to enable musicians of all ages and abilities to participate in a performing amateur orchestra. The atmosphere is friendly, informal and geared towards encouraging the best performances from its members and aiding their musical development. The orchestra occasionally performs away from its base in Great B

arrow Chester and are free to give concerts for charity. We are a not for profit Community Based Orchestra. The orchestra is led and conducted by our Musical Director, Jan Modelski. Jan is an established Music Teacher and performs regularily on the local live music scene. He has an enviable record in taking his students to a high level of success. He is passionate and vibrant about making music

Hope you all had a Happy Christmas & Happy New Year. Here is one of the affiliated CCO groups: Chester Flute Ensemble, playing at the Countess of Chester on the Children’s Ward & Care of the Elderly, conducted by our very own Jan Modelski from Modelski Music

We played: Jingle Bells, Rudolf, Walking in the Air, Oh Little Town, Away in a Manger, Little Donkey and many more. Plus Natalie sang beautifully, Oh Holy Night. It was magical 🎄🎅🎄

What a fantastic night we had at our end of year concert last night.
All 3 orchestras performed fantastically to a packed house and we hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did.
