Today brio Northgate took part in the RLSS UK's 'Restart a Heart' campaign on Friday 16 October 2026, encouraging leisure operators, lifesaving clubs and the wider leisure industry to raise awareness of CPR and defibrillator use.

The campaign aims to improve survival rates from out-of-hospital cardiac arrests by giving members of the public the opportunity to learn these vital lifesaving skills.

Some key facts highlight the importance of this initiative:

80% of out-of-hospital cardiac arrests occur in the home.
43% of UK adults have never learned CPR.
Every minute without CPR and defibrillation reduces the chance of survival by approximately 10%.

What a fantastic day! 💃🕺✨

A massive well done to everyone who joined us for our Danceathon and danced non-stop for 2 hours. The energy, enthusiasm, and support were incredible from start to finish!
A huge thank you to CJ, Daniela, and Gemma for delivering such an amazing performance. The music was fantastic, and you were all absolutely brilliant. 🎶❤️
It was wonderful to see so many people stopping to watch, cheer us on, and even join in the fun as they passed by. The atmosphere was truly unforgettable!
A special thank you to Solid Ground for having us back and giving us the opportunity to host another epic event.
