This is our performance of Bright Star Rising in Canterbury Cathedral.

It was part of a magnificent weekend hosted by Canterbury Christ Church University in which some terrific Uni Choirs from around the country gathered to sing Monteverdi's Vespers, as well as offer something of our own.

Bright Star Rising was composed by musical director Matt Baker, with words by Helen Newall and inspired by ideas from the choir members themselves. We were offered the theme of enlightenment.

Special thanks to Dr Chris Price and team at Canterbury for making this all possible.

We had a wonderful time performing Monteverdi Vespers and Prayer for Ukraine alongside the terrific combined University choirs from around the country - as well as premiering our own anthem Bright Star Rising - all in the magnificent setting of Canterbury Cathedral.
