Nature Makers - Cheshire Mid & Chester

Hello!!
You may have seen my posts about the amazing project that is taking place at Grozone Community Garden in Northwich.
The project is kindly being funded by The National Lottery Community Fund and in partnership with Nature Boost Cheshire CIC .

The project is open to anybody and is a Wellbeing in Nature with arts and crafts programme. The garden lends itself beautifully to relaxation, connecting with nature and taking part in gentle creative activities.
It is free to take part, and ideally people should try to come to all 4 sessions.

Places are limited and many people return so please book your place. Friday morning in July is now fully booked.

Evening sessions are available on Tuesdays 21st July, 28th July, 4th &11th August. 6pm till 8pm.

Friday mornings 10am till 12 are available July 31st, 7th, 14th & 28th August.

What a beautiful morning we had at Stonyford Cottage Gardens & Nursery creating our lovely Willow Swallows 🌿
A perfect place for relaxation and creativity 👌

I have more workshops planned for July and August where we'll be making fantastic Wind Spinners!!

What a fab day @ Chester Green Festival!
It was great to see so many people attending!

I loved chatting to everyone as they made gorgeous bracelets from Elder!
Lots of adults joined in too, ...which was fantastic!!!! You're never too old to be creative and play with sticks!!! 💚💛

Yesterday in a big green field....today in Chester Town Hall @ Chester Green Festival !
Ill be making Elder bracelets 🌿🌿

There are lots of other stalls here too!
Pop in..its FOC and open 11am till 4pm 😍

A fabulous morning at Grozone Community Garden , despite the drizzle. 🌿 The droplets of rain actually added to the beauty of the garden today 😍

We explored the wildlife in the pond and it didn't disappoint! As adults we dont often get chance to fish about in ponds, but it was so much fun and we found loads of Dragonfly Nymphs...amazing creatures that some people had never seen before.
Getting creative, we experimented with Hapa Zome, using the pigments of leaves and flowers to make prints. I love seeing how everyone tries different ideas, sharing and helping one another 💚🧡

Thanks to The Lottery Community Fund for funding this project for the local community

A big part of what I love about my work is helping other people to "feel good".
Taking part in mindful crafts is a great way to relax, bring calm to mind and body, connect with yourself and others and be present in the moment. It also comes with a sense of satisfaction and pride at creating something yourself.

Its a pleasure to run nature crafts with residents at Curzon House, Chester ( Forum Housing Association ) and see the benefits they bring 💚

The last couple of sessions we have made dream catchers and bee mobiles! They look fantastic 😍
