We love this sand playdough in our house - we are playdough fans anyway, but this adds a nice twist and a great sensory experience with the added texture. Here's our recipe if you want to give it a whirl! Tag us in your play pics!
- 1 1/2 Cups of Flour
- 1/2 Cup of Salt
- 1 1/2 Cups of Sand
- 2 tablespoons of cream of tartar
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- 1 to 1 1/2 Cups of Boiling Water
- a few drops of Glycerine
To make:
Mix together the dry ingredients, (including the sand). Then add the oil, glycerine and 1 cup of boiling water.
Give it a good stir and add a little more water if needed/until you get the consistency you want.
When cool, take it out of the bowl and give it a really good kneed on the worktop.
