Not only does this aid in search engine optimisation but only encourages a direct and specified target audience that I want my website to achieve. The use of advertising can help build connections with other corporations as well and gain greater traffic to my website as the advertisements will be relevant to my website e.g. advertising new music by a record label, creating relevant interest from my target audience.
• Finally, another form of digital marketing I could use with my website is email marketing. In order to retain online consumers of the website, my website could send emails to subscribers in relation to promotional content such as monthly newsletters, additional relevant content pieces, news in the industry, alerts of new music and advertisements of products and other companies. By utilising email marketing as a strategy for my website, brand awareness and promotion could be increased, and this also builds a relationship with subscribers. Keeping in contact with subscribers builds a reliable and trustworthy reputation for the website, increasing traffic.
