Chesham Methodist Players

Chesham Methodist Players Players is a friendly and fun drama group for everyone aged 8 to 80+. We meet on Friday evenings with some rehearsals on Sunday afternoons.

We perform a pantomime in February half-term and a play (usually based on a children’s book) in October half-term; plus various activities in the summer. Annual subs are just £15 or £25 for a family

Whether you want to act, sing, dance or help backstage, we need you. There are props to make, scenery to paint, costumes to sew, lights to hang up, buttons to press, programmes to give out and ice creams to sell. We would love your help.

Congratulations everyone for a fabulous show. You all did amazingly well. Its always a pleasure to see the enthusiasm and creativity. And well done to the audience too, who sat in a very hot hall for a very long show! Thank you Sue for directing us and pulling it all together, at the last minute, as always.

If you are worried about the heat on Saturday night, rest assured the hall should be cool as the windows will have been blacked out all day. We can also use fans and have doors open if that helps. Hopefully we can still wear our fur coats, wigs and dressing gowns but do excuse us if we are not fully costumed up or a bit sweaty!
