It's forecast dry on SUNDAY, so please do come and see the Bucks Art Weeks artists for 2026.

We're open 11am to 3pm.

There are three painters:
• Sharon Bailey, who creates colourful, dream-like acrylics
• Sandy Herz, who paints stylised landscapes in mixed media
• Karen Martin, who makes semi-abstracted works in mixed media, and is also a print maker.

And there are two ceramacists:
• Sally Dorrity who uses stoneware clays to hand build pots
• Fiona Wilcock, who uses a potters wheel, along with raku firing and tile making.

With a sculptor and jeweller:
• Varvara White, who sculpts in copper, and creates imaginative jewellery in a variety of metals.

And a gallery full of gifts, cards, books and local history.

Dear Art Lover,

We’re excited to announce that Bucks Art Weeks 2026 is now open!

Across the county, hundreds of artists, makers, and creatives are opening their studios, exhibiting their work, and sharing their creative spaces with the public.

Whether you're a long-time supporter or a first-time visitor, there's something inspiring waiting for you to discover - from painting, ceramics and sculpture to textiles, jewellery, glass, photography and more. And remember - most venues offer refreshments too, so it’s the perfect day out!

Alongside our wonderful group exhibitions, we’re giving an extra-special push to our working studios this year. There’s nothing quite like stepping directly into an artist's creative space - seeing the kilns, the printing presses, the raw materials, and watching live demonstrations of how the magic actually happens!

Very nice of the Mayor, Parveiz Aslam, along with David Tarn & Dave Cooper from Plastic Free Chesham, to present me with an award for clearing three everyday items of single-use plastic from the premises.

We now use paper and canvas bags, paper tapes and are moving to cardboard bubble wrap.

We've just been given this business award. Here in the gallery we use only paper bags, and also sell Plastic Free Chesham canvas bags, we only use and sell paper packaging/framing tape, we're phasing out plastic bubble wrap in favour of cardboard wrap and are encouraging greetings cards without cellophane.

Pablo Ruiz Picasso was a Spanish painter and sculptor who lived most of his adult life in France. He was one of the most influential artists of the 20th century, and is known for co-creating the Cubist movement, and collage art, as well as a wide variety of other styles.
