About a month ago, this year's beer festival was in jeopardy. After my Facebook plea, so many people came forward with an offer to help save the event. Many people offered to loan me the cash, many more purchased early bird tickets (thank you so much for that), but one person above all else saved the festival.

By offering to fully sponsor this years glassware, Liz Flint and her company Flint Innovations basically saved the festival.

I'll share more info on Flint Innovations and their great work nearer the festival, but i just wanted to take this opportunity to thank a great local business and more importantly, a wonderful friend for her generosity.

Hi folks. I'm looking for a food vendor with a self contained trailer/van or similar for the years beer festival. Needs to be fully certified. Anyone who's interested please let me know.

Festival runs from 25th to 27th September.

Hey folks.

I'm going to be completely honest with you all.

The beer festival is at risk of not happening this year.

The margins are so tight, and I have to find a serious amount of money to pay for glassware that I just don't have (vat and tax coming at the end of this month/early next month).

My last ditch attempt at keeping the festival going is Early Bird tickets. Available from the Queen's Head, they're £50 each and give you access to the festival all weekend, a free festival glass and £50 worth of drinks tokens to use throughout the weekend. So you get your entry and glassware free!

Festival is 25th to 27th September, hopefully!
