We had a private view this morning with coffee and croissants, a bit different and very well attended. Day 1 of Radnorshire Artists open studios at The Hymns. I feel very lucky to be exhibiting again with some very special and talented artists and makers. Oh and tasty food! I may have missed people out so you ‘ll need to come and see! Deb L Bunker

I rarely lead workshops, but when I do I love it. This ‘Exploring, Sketching and Painting the River Wye’ series of three workshops at Wyeside Arts Centre, subsidised by The Ashley Family Foundation, has been lovely and I can’t wait to see what the participants produce in the final session next Wednesday.

These three haven’t had a showing for a while. Now they are in Llandrindod indefinitely. Do you recognise their sumptuous home? “Ffordd Mynydd i Aberystwyth - Defaid” and “Coed y Bedw” I and III. (Coed y Bedw II is in London.) 😊

Would you love one of my paintings, but can't afford it?
Recently there have been a few things that I don't 'need' but would have dearly liked if I could have afforded them. There was a beautiful hand made fire pit, some gorgeous ceramics and a sculpture course for example.
This must happen with people who see and like my paintings, but can't afford them too.
So - I am also happy to accept the folllowing (and probably other things I haven't thought of yet) in exchange or part exchange for a painting. Message me if you’re interested!!:
Odd jobs /DIY, painting and decorating, building work etc
Gardening, tree surgery, logging, landscaping, hedgelaying etc
Upholstery and furniture repairs
Massage, pedicure, hair
Workshops in eg sculpture, weaving or silversmithing
A handmade fire pit and ceramics!

Early hanging at The Hymns with Radnorshire Artists for Herefordshire Art Week. I will be here from 5th - 13th September with some fabulous artists and makers. Also very happy to have work hanging at Celf o Gwmpas for the Summer too. I’m very lucky.
