Grand Selects

Grand Selects Grand Selects is a project dedicated to celebrating culture in all its forms be it music, art, literature, or film.

Our aim is to celebrate the audacious and champion the unassuming whilst
striving at all times to never be predictable and we do this using curation, appreciation and conversation.
**
In the Selector series we've tasked various creatives that we at Grand Selects most admire and respect from around the world
to assemble a playlist or mix, of any genre, that perfectly reflects their personal taste and the current zeitgeist.

One of the major soul labels of the 1970s, Spring Records was formed in the late 1960s by Bill Spitalsky and Roy and Julie Rifkind. A hothouse for some of the most essential soul music of the era, the likes of Millie Jackson, Joe Simon and The Fatback Band made their best-known songs and greatest chart hits for Spring. This compilation showcases some of mighty releases on this iconic label by giving them the remix treatment from heavy hitters such as Dimitri from Paris, , , , and more. It is mastered impeccably to play at home, but also in a club as well and is presented as a Double-LP package and pressed on colour vinyl.
Released: October 2025 Label: Acid Jazz Records
