🐝🍅 When Mr Bee Tomato met Winnie the Pooh…

Word around the hive was buzzing: Winnie the Pooh is turning 100! So, naturally, I fluttered over to Fortnum’s to see what all the excitement was about.

A whole century after Pooh first wandered into the Hundred Acre Wood, Fortnum & Mason is celebrating with the Disney Winnie the Pooh 100th Anniversary Collection. From beautifully curated hampers and honey-infused treats to collectible keepsakes and the very first jars of authentic “100 Aker Wood Hunny”, made by bees in Ashdown Forest, the real-life inspiration behind Pooh’s beloved home, every detail is filled with warmth and nostalgia. 🍯💛

As a little bee who takes honey very seriously, I can confirm… Pooh has excellent taste. 🐻🍯

Happy 100th, Winnie the Pooh. Here’s to timeless stories, golden honey, and the simple joy of slowing down.

🐝 Buzz buzz… Mr Tomato Bee reporting for duty!

Last Saturday, I transformed into a little bee and flew all the way to Leadenhall Market. 🍅🐝

A busy market day calls for serious fuel, so naturally I treated myself to my favourite McDonald’s meal before work. 🍔🍟 A well-fed tomato is a happy tomato.

Then the fun began!

I met so many lovely humans, chatted with fellow artists, swapped market tips, shared stories about creating our little brands, and cheered each other on. That’s one of my favourite things about market days. It’s not just about selling, it’s about meeting people who love making things as much as I do. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, said hello, adopted a little Mr Tomato, or simply shared a smile. You made my day sweeter than ketchup. 🍅✨

Feeling grateful to Yu Rong for inviting me to join her Creative Team on this inspiring project celebrating women’s achievements across cultures and history. 🌍✨

From archaeology to zoology, the women featured in this book have changed the world with their knowledge, creativity, courage and determination. Their stories remind us how powerful curiosity and imagination can be.

I had the pleasure of painting Niki de Saint Phalle, one of my favourite female artists whose bold spirit and joyful, fearless work has inspired me for many years. 💙

Honoured to be part of this celebration of remarkable women and changemakers.

📣Thrilled to share that my illustration series The Signal Realm has been selected for the Cheltenham Illustration Awards – Tales of the Uncanny exhibition! ✨

The series grew out of my experiences living and travelling across different countries, capturing those uncanny, dreamlike moments when unfamiliar places begin to feel strangely magical.

The exhibition will tour around the UK, and it’s currently on view at Park Campus, University of Gloucestershire from 9–25 March. FREE Entrance! I’ll be there for the closing party on 25 March and can’t wait to finally see the show in person and meet so many talented artists.
