We bid a fond farewell to our British Masters show and what a truly inspiring collection of works that was! But we’re back with our brilliant contemporary artists again, filling the gallery with colour and cheer ☀️

With new collections in from Andy Watt, Natasha Kumar, Corine Ko, Linda Franklin, Julian Carr, and more, statement sculpture by Antonio Lopez Reche, Adam Binder, Sally Grant, Robert Fogell and Colin Hawkins, there’s heaps of art to browse!

Friday greetings to you! We’re excited because doors open tomorrow for our latest exhibition - British Masters | The Artists Who Shaped Modern Britain 🥂

With original artworks on show and available to buy from some of the titans of 20th century British art, it’s an absolute must-see! Check out our website for more information, the exhibition is on until 1st August 👀

With our Under the Sun exhibition in full swing, here is the first of our five featured artists - painter and printmaker Chitra Merchant, showing a supremely unique collection of paintings, monoprints and limited edition screenprints.

A huge congratulations also to Chitra for being part of the RA summer show again this year! Very well deserved 🙌

We’re all set for the opening of our newest group exhibition tomorrow - Under the Sun ☀️🥂

Bringing together a distinguished group of painters and printmakers, this show explores how artists continue to reinterpret the natural world through bold palettes, expressive mark-making and original print techniques. Featured artists include Bruce McLean, Chitra Merchant, Louise Davies and guest artists, Dame Barbara Rae and Donald Hamilton Fraser.

What unites these artists is a shared commitment to originality. Each work, whether in acrylic or oil, an etching or a screen print, is an original, emphasising the tactile, handmade qualities that distinguish fine art from reproduction.

Alongside these colourful works are the stunning bronze sculptures of Antonio Lopez Reche, Sally Grant, Robert Fogell and Adam Binder, and glass by Colin Hawkins.

Happy Friday everyone! 👋 We’re starting the weekend off with a very warm welcome to sculptor Sally Grant. Sally’s debut collection with us is now available to view online and in the gallery.

Her bronze sculptures are expressionistic, semi-abstract figures and heads, each piece starting with a clay model, allowing a spontaneous fluid form to evolve. She captures a sense of contemplation or remembrance, the figures communicating their emotional state through posture and gesture. Tell us what you think?

Inspiration - oil on canvas, 105 x 120cm - now hanging in our window and literally stopping traffic!

Maisie and Saskia - charcoal and ink on paper, paper size 84 x 50cm - these two are being framed and will be with us very soon.
