2026 DEGREE SHOW!
Hi, I’m Thomas Thomas Fallon and I am a traditional illustrator specialising in watercolour and ink. My main interests in my work are in urban sketching, architectural studies and landscape painting. For my FMP, these themes have led me to create a book, ‘An Illustrated Guide to Bath’.

Through a collection of paintings and personal notes, this book explores the architecture and atmosphere of the city from my perspective as an artist. My aim is to not only to showcase the beauty of the city through illustration, but also to encourage others to look at the world around them and appreciate all the details that give a place its unique character and identity. I am excited to make other books like this and maybe take the series international…

DEGREE SHOW 2026!!
Hi! I’m Hatty Wassell, a nature artist and 3rd year illustration student here at the University of Gloucestershire. My exhibition project is a nature activity book designed to help adults manage stress by practising mindfulness and connecting with nature. With relaxing activities such as painting with blackberries, wildlife watching, dyeing fabric with nettles and even some tips on how to bring nature indoors, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. 

I’m excited to take the next steps after I graduate, perhaps by aiming to get my book published and on the shelves, illustrating more nature books, or working on other nature or mental heath-themed projects.

2026 DEGREE SHOW!
I’m Hannah (.arts) and I am an illustrator and storyteller who works to bring together fantasy and nature while also raising awareness for the natural world! I am heavily inspired by video games and the world around me, and I enjoy learning everything I can about nature and science. 

My FMP is a wordless comic about a pampered house cat who escapes into the surrounding city for the first time and discovers the way the animals on the streets live! A lot of my work revolves around the impact that humans have on animals, particularly our invasion of their world through urbanisation. I aim to use to my work to help people become more aware of the small things in our day to day lives that can cause harm to the animals that live around us.

DEGREE SHOW 2026!!
Hi, my name is William Ashworth, and I am excited to share my Final Major Project with you! My FMP is a hand bound Graphic Novel about a young Victorian girl who is abandoned by her parents but finds a magical living flame who takes her on an adventure with others of its kind. I used traditional mediums, including charcoal, pastels, chalk and ink, to tell my fantastical, coming of age story that I hope you find enjoyable and inspiring. I am excited to make more fictional and non-fictional books using a variety of traditional and digital mediums, as well as creating more animations moving forward. DEGREE SHOW 2026!!
Hii I’m Ellie, a watercolour artist interested in exploring emotions, nostalgia and nature through my work.

My final major project is a picture book titled, ‘Staying with Clover’ which centres on Clover as she begins to struggle with her mental health and how to cope with the thoughts and feelings she has. The story focuses on depression, friendship and the importance of opening up, as well as creating a safe space for the people around you to do the same.

In the future I hope to illustrate picture books with a focus on visualising and communicating themes that can be expressed through my paintings in a way that can be hard to convey through words.

DEGREE SHOW 2026!!!
Hi, I’m ! I work as a part time YouTube creator making concept art and animated shorts based around one of my favourite games. I’ve been inspired by my love of colourful cartoon characters, video games and fantasy storytelling to create a short film titled ‘Lamby’ based on my childhood toy. I’ve been wanting to push my animation practice further for a while and amassing an online audience has been a huge motivator! Getting the opportunity to explore a variety of new art styles has been a really fun experience and I’m excited to bring everything I’ve learned into my future content!
