A New Chapter...
It is with very mixed feelings that I have to announce that there will no longer be weekly Little Artists sessions.
My "real" job has changed significantly recently bringing lots more responsibility and hours and therefore I feel I can't provide the regular sessions I usually would for Little Artists.
While I am so excited to step into this new role at work and feel so ready for change there and a return to the level I worked at pre kids, I am sad to lose a part of Little Artists.
As you know I started Little Artists for my daughter to provide us with a stimulating and different kind of toddler group to go to each week. There were no art groups out there at the time and it created so many beautiful friendships for us and challenged me in such a lovely different way compared to my normal secondary school art teaching. I simply loved the challenge and fun it gave me. I love the friendships it has provided us and the confidence it has given both Arabella and I.
I still can't believe I have run these little sessions for nearly 4 years and have had so many wonderful toddlers, mums, dads, Nanas,Grandad's and friends through the door each week. Some of you have literally been with me every week and stayed loyal to me through location changes and the ups and downs of life...everything! I will be forever grateful for that.
However, something has been missing for me lately..and I have come to realise that it is my little artists!
I had so much fun during the Easter holiday session and hearing Arabella say "Little Artists is my happy place" it really sealed how I see the future of this little creative gig...
So this isn't goodbye, just see you more in the holidays! I am very keen to continue with my "specials" and offer one off seasonal sessions mid week when I can and focus more on providing holiday sessions. This is where I feel I can dedicate myself and offer better sessions to you when let's face it, we are desperate to have fun things to take our kids to during the holidays! I then also get to enjoy seeing my own kids loving their creative time with friends and us all going to our "happy place".
Thanks for everything, Gin x
