This made our day! ❤️
Summer without Comedy Huddle just hasn’t been the same. We can’t wait to catch up and find out what everyone’s been up to.

Did Sarah make it to the Fringe? Did Pete and Dave survive the music festivals? Is Ivan still causing trouble? And will Michelle and the Ladies’ Meetup arrive in force again?

One of the best things about The Huddle is seeing people become part of the gang. Familiar faces turning into friendships, new people finding their crowd, and everyone becoming part of this lovely little community. Your support and presence genuinely mean a lot to us.

Huddle with us in September. Bring your friends, your summer gossip and your best laugh. We’ll provide the comedians.

And apparently the Smiths have a dedicated Huddle family WhatsApp group, so things are clearly getting serious. 😂

We did it again! Despite the heat, 60 packed into Comedy Huddle and proved that laughter beats air conditioning every time. Huge thanks to our loyal Huddlers, brilliant newcomers and fantastic comedians for making it another unforgettable night.

Kate Robb got things cooking with tales of long marriage, unforgettable mental images of her right tit and the discovery that Richard had been married for 35 years while his wife claimed almost 30.

The Headliner Eva Bindeman had us in stitches with her hunt for wi***es, her unique dating criteria ("I pick my men like dogs..."), and her instant soft spot for Dave, who reminded her of her dad. Poor Dave never stood a chance. Even local scrap legend Mark got a mention thanks to his gloriously deep voice.

Our MC Aaron Williams kept the room buzzing and uncovering comedy gold from the audience. When he asked, "What's a gentleman's best quality?" Sarah didn't miss a beat: "Not being a selfish prick!"

A big shout out to the Ladies' Meetup group, including our Geordie friend who first came to Cheltenham for love, stayed after the relationship ended and found a Meetup community. We think that's a much better deal.

We were also delighted to welcome new Huddlers, including some tree surgeons. The wonderful Smiths family brought along lovely Heather, Richard and Marianne.

One of our favourite moments came when Sarah looked around asking, "I can't see Grandad Smith," only for Brendon to return after a few months away and be greeted with, "Hey mate, great to have you back!" By the Pineapple People. It was a lovely reminder that Comedy Huddle isn't just a comedy night.

A massive thank you to the hardworking Smokey Joe's Cafe Bar, Diner & Venue team for looking after everyone in the heat, to the amazing Susi for travelling from London to help us set up, to our brilliant acts, and to every single one of you who makes Comedy Huddle such a welcoming, joyful place.

If you came to the last Huddle, you've earned a **30% discount** for our next show. If you've misplaced the code, just send us a message with the name or email you booked under.

Have a fantastic summer and we'll see you all again in September. Thanks for keeping live comedy, independent venues and this wonderful little community thriving. ❤️

It was HOT at The Huddle… and not just because the British weather briefly remembered how to do summer.
To our collective shock, the night kicked off with some bold front-row newbie attempting to kiss our wonderful MC Ashley Frieze. In all our Huddle history, that was a first. We always say “anything can happen at The Huddle”… apparently we need to start being more specific.

Ashley expertly dodged the chaos and steered us smoothly into birthday celebrations for Lisa and newly-21 Zandr, who somehow became the unofficial mascot/theme/target of the entire evening.

Our headliner Kevin Daniel Comedian locked onto our favourite cheeky grandad Ivan and asked:
“What is Zandr to you?”
“A problem,” Ivan replied instantly - earning the biggest laugh of the night.
Kevin kept the spotlight firmly on Gen Z, oversized emotional-support water bottles, and the slow destruction of civilisation. We laughed. We cried. Some people checked the size of their Stanley Cups.

Hannah Weetman started us off with hilarious dating stories and a suggestion to replace “Me Too” with “Why Not?”.

James Townsend made the round trip from South London and made us laugh about Gordon Ramsay’s kitchens and bonding over Nobbies Nuts. He said the Huddle was so good that if any comedian ever drops out he'd make the trip again in a heartbeat.

Lovely to see Brendon back as well, asking our headliner the important question about men’s size... of shoe inserts. A topic none of us expected, but somehow not the weirdest that came up at the Huddle.

Ashley sprinkled the night throughout with brilliantly unhinged jokes involving a womble and a toilet brush - as you do.

Huge thanks to our hardcore loyal Huddlers who turned up despite the heat, plus all the lovely newcomers who wandered in from the campsite looking for a pint and accidentally found therapy through comedy.

And of course, massive thanks to the wonderful Smokey Joe's Cafe Bar, Diner & Venue team for keeping everyone fed and watered.

Our next Huddle on 26th June is the LAST one before our summer break until the end of September, so come and join us before you disappear on your adventures.

🎟️ There’s still 20% off if you book before the end of today.

Thank you all for supporting live comedy, independent venues, and whatever it is we’re building together at The Huddle. We absolutely love it.

We'll have a laugh tonight! We all need it. Book tickets if you haven't already.
