TODAY'S SHOW: Sherlock Holmes & The Mystery of the Governor's Nose

Our final show and the game is afoot at Tuckwell!

Extra! Extra! A legendary painting has been stolen from a distinguished art gallery – and there’s only one detective duo for the job.

Holmes and Watson are on the case following the mysterious disappearance of The Governor’s Nose. But with shady characters, mysterious forces and plenty of twists standing in their way, they’ll need every ounce of wit, guile and deduction they can muster.

Luckily, steadfast Mrs Hudson is on hand – along with Detective “Always-One-Step-Behind” Lestrade!

Based on two short stories by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, The Naval Treaty and The Man with the Twisted Lip, this is Sherlock Holmes given the brilliantly comic Jenny Wren treatment.

TODAY'S SHOW - Theatre of Dreams

From Cheltenham Ladies’ College to a Cornish cliff face… 🎭🌊

Brought up in genteel Edwardian Cheltenham near Pittville Pump Rooms, Rowena Cade was educated at Cheltenham Ladies’ College and, as a teenager during the First World War, helped the war effort by breaking in Canadian horses at nearby Prestbury Park.

So how did this Cheltenham woman go on to buy a Cornish headland for just £100 – and create one of Britain’s most extraordinary theatres?

With the help of her gardener Billy, Rowena transformed a rocky, gorse-covered cliff face using little more than hand tools… and the occasional stick of dynamite! 💥

The result was The Minack Theatre – a breathtaking open-air theatre carved into the Cornish cliffs, and an extraordinary legacy created by an equally remarkable woman.

Discover Rowena’s fascinating story in this play by local playwright Rachel Tobin, performed by actors from Malvern Skyline Productions and produced and directed by Rachel.

Following sell-out performances of The Last Free Rave and Malvern’s Secret War Heroes, this is another captivating true story brought to the stage.
