Hello 👋
How are you all? So although I had planned to keep the website open after closing for regular hours at the shop - the time has come to wrap up this venture entirely.

It’s been so much fun and I’ve met loads of lovely people along the way, but all good things must come to and end.

So to see it out I have 50% off EVERYTHING on the website, there are some lovely things in stock so now is a very good time to add to your stash!
No code required - discount automatically applied at checkout.

I’m sorry to report I’m having to close up early for Christmas.
I’m just not well enough to open up today and I certainly don’t want to spread my germs so close to Christmas.

If you were very eager to get something before Christmas give me a shout - and I’ll see what I can do.

So sorry.

Little reminder that we are open 10.30 - 4.00 this Thursday.
Open as usual 10.30-4.30 Friday and Saturday.

Start them young I say!
Effie (10) requested some mittens so I’ve tasked her with job of knitting them herself.

We’re using the Rosa mittens pattern from KNITHOW - which is a book I highly recommend for any budding knitters. Not only furs it teaches you how to, it’s got some great patterns too.

Super thrilled to have got my hands on Claire Montgomerie’s granny square deck for the shop 🧶🧶🧶

Available online and in the shop - would make an excellent gift for the crocheters in your life!

New ✨ opal self striping sock yarns in the shop and online (I have free UK shipping online until the end of today 😉)

I feel like self striping yarns have magic in them - the project always works up quicker because I want to get to that next colour!

Ok - I succumbed! I absolutely did not need a new project, but the gingerbread CAL from Lottie and Albert was just too tempting!

I’m using Wendy’s Supreme DK and I’ve gone a bit off piste with my colour choices - see my chosen colour palette below.

So far so much fun 🎄🏠🧶

Happy Monday!
Hope your weekend was fun.
We hosted a granny square workshop at the shop yesterday with which was a lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon indeed.

I absolutely cannot start any more projects yet I found myself on a granny square making mission - and though I shouldn’t I think I want to make some more!

We’ll be getting some dates together for more workshops soon so keep an eye out if you fancy coming along to learn new skills.
