In the Wyvernwood world of fairies, dragons, goblins and unicorns, we added our own touch of magic. We gave it something special.

Walking through that magical portal, there was so much more than an enchanted kingdom. There was love, kindness, inclusion, acceptance, understanding, support, joy, smiles, laughter, connection, friendship… and so much more. ❤️

To everyone who came, shared the day with us, embraced the magic and helped make SEND FEST what it was - thank you ✨

You made it truly unforgettable.

Delighted to announce that The multi-schools council will also be joining us for the first time for SEND FEST at Wyvernwood.
Back in April, we spent some time with a small group of the Event Ambassadors from Multi-Schools Council, talking about what a great event looks like for them and what we can do to reduce any worries or concerns they may have when heading out for the day. Their insight and ideas have proved invaluable and we are thrilled they are now joining us.

The Multi-Schools Council was started back in 2012 with the aim of challenging negative perceptions towards young people with special educational needs and mental health difficulties. Over the years the council has expanded with over 1000 schools signed up and over 200 young ambassadors. The council brings young people with and without SEND together, runs awareness programmes in schools and gives a platform to young people to have a voice in the system.

Their ideas and projects are designed by young people, including their online shop which features products aimed at increasing SEND awareness. They are always looking to work with more young people and connect with local organisations who share their values.

Our next SEND FEST event at Wyvernwood on Saturday 22 August has now SOLD OUT!

We do have a few funded tickets remaining for those who live in Essex and are eligible for benefit related free school meals or universal credit - so please drop us a DM if you qualify and would like to grab one of the few tickets left!

We can't wait to see you all again soon. Watch this space for more details on who else will be joining us for the day x
