Mettle Works is a fully licenced venue!!!!

That's right, yesterday we got the news we were all waiting for as our premise licence application got accepted!

What does this mean?

- We can now stay open till 5am every Friday and Saturday night
- We can host 750 people inside our warehouse
- We can sell alchohol every day of the week

If you're a promoter wanting to do an event in Chelmsford's largest indoor space, get in touch and we'll make it happen.

The first chance to celebrate with us is this Saturday as we're hosting an all day terrace party with the legendary Ibiza beach club, Bora Bora. 5 hours of Gee Moore, Dave Valentine and the Unknown DJs. Tickets available on our website and Skiddle.

Something new is emerging in Chelmsford.

On 27 June, AUTON opens its doors for the very first time.

A gathering of artists, machines, ideas and people brought together by a shared curiosity for electronic music and live performance.

Across the day and into the night, you'll be taken on a journey through immersive live electronics, analogue experimentation, evolving rhythms and dancefloor energy. From moments of deep listening to moments of collective movement, AUTON unfolds as a continuous exploration of sound.

This isn't simply a collection of performances.

It's the beginning of a new chapter. A new space for electronic arts in Chelmsford. A chance to experience something from its very first steps and help shape what comes next.

Whether you're a lifelong devotee of underground culture or simply curious to discover something different, AUTON invites you in.

The first chapter begins on 27 June.

Something new is taking shape in Chelmsford.

On 27 June, AUTON opens its doors for the first time, bringing together live electronic performance, experimental sound and underground culture for a day and night dedicated to discovery.

This week's transmission features Kinlis.

Blending technology, creativity and sonic exploration, Kinlis embodies the spirit of AUTON โ€” artists creating experiences that challenge expectations and invite audiences into new worlds of sound.

AUTON isn't about standing on the sidelines.

It's about immersing yourself in a journey that unfolds across the day, from intimate live performances and machine-led experimentation through to the energy and connection of the dancefloor.

It's a chance to encounter new artists, new ideas and new perspectives. To be part of a growing community of listeners, dancers, creators and curious minds who believe that culture is something we build together.

This is the first AUTON.

The first step in a new chapter for electronic arts in Chelmsford.

And years from now, you'll be able to say you were there at the beginning.
