Steps Dance Welcome to STEPS Dance, founded by Sue Eves BA(Hons) after becoming an IDTA Freestyle Associate in 1993.

STEPS Dance provides an ideal and affordable opportunity for adults and children based in Chelmsford, Essex, to learn a fusion of dance styles including Freestyle, Street Dance, Rock 'n' Roll, Jive and Latin American. We provide a range of opportunities for new and experienced dancers looking to take a STEP forward in the world of dance. We organise examinations, shows, displays, competitions and

other dance events regularly throughout the year, so there is always something to look forward to as part of the STEPS family, and plenty of chances to perform. Our students take their examinations with the International Dance Teacher's Association (IDTA) and we are proud to say that we have a 100% pass rate. Behind each of our amazing students is a mum who amongst many things tirelessly gets them to dance class, helps them practice at home, packs their dance case, gets their hair and outfits ready, brings them to competitions reassures and cheers them on as they perform.
