Well here she is finally finished!
An Emma Bridgewater White Bryony pigeon transformed into a Hawthorn pigeon!
This was a special commission in order to complete a collection, a very clever idea that I cannot take credit for! 😀

This is a new one for me which I’m hoping will work out! One of my customers really wanted an hawthorn pigeon but it’s not something that was ever produced… so she bought a damaged White Bryony one and has asked me to try and transform it!
So far it’s had four coats of paint to cover the original pattern (felt utterly wrong painting over it!) and I’m now gearing myself up to add the new pattern. May just need a Cadbury’s creme egg before I get going! 😋

I actually really want to keep this one for myself! 🤦‍♀️ sadly though I’ll be posting it off to its new home tomorrow where I know it’ll be well loved.
Painted and then decoupaged in what must be one of my favourite patterns 💕

I’ll be posting this lovely lady to her new home tomorrow 😊 decoupaged with yet another stunner of a pattern by Emma Bridgewater, it’s got me looking forward even more for spring… hoping those little £1 bunches of daffodils will appear in the shops soon!

We’ve been having loads of work done on the house again over the last few months so my EB makes have taken a bit of a backseat.

We’ve just had a new carpet fitted and there was loads left over. Bit of trim from Dunelm (£4) and a glue gun that was a Christmas gift that I’d never used and hey presto I’ve made a carpet protector! Really chuffed with it…. Although no idea how well it’ll last! 😀

Just thought I’d share the idea incase you thought it would be a good one for you to try!

It was my birthday on Sunday, I am now half a century old! 😳 I’ve never really been all that bothered about my age but this one has had me puzzling a bit as to how it can be possible… I’m sure I’m only 30! 😂
Anyway, one of the things on my birthday list was the new owl money box… being a 70’s baby the old heirloom pattern brings back fond memories and I have a bit of a thing for owls so felt I needed one in my home. Bit of a change from my bits but I love it! 😀

I hope you’ve all had lovely bank holiday weekends. We had some very nice weather in Essex, did some gardening, cooked a roast, little bit of crafting… quite relaxed really 😀
I’m hoping to post these door signs this afternoon to a lovely lady that has had several signs from me now ☺️
